St.Illogan Church Choir

St. Illogan Church is one of the few small Parish Churches to maintain a robed choir. The organist and choir provide leadership to the singing in most morning services and a visual presence to encourage the congregation. They sing anthems at Harvest, Easter and Christmas; and also provide valuable contributions to special services such as the Remembrance Service, the Battle of Britain Service, many weddings and some funerals.

The current choir is a friendly, open, welcoming and happy group of just ten members. A larger group would be valuable to sustain these activities and we would be very pleased to welcome new members. An ability to hold a tune is all that is required. We are very flexible and would welcome any support. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm in the Parish Room at St Illogan Church.
